The women’s curling gold medal should come down to a two rink race.  Canada will be the pre-event favourites, with China very close behind in second place.  The rink that will be representing Canada at this Olympics is team Bernard.  Team Bernard dominated the Canadian Olympic trials posting a 7-1 record at the trials, which included the finals, which they won over Team Kleibrink.

Canada has been at the top of international curling for some time now and I feel team Bernard should be able to keep them there with a gold medal at this years Winter Olympics in Vancouver.  Look for a Canada vs China final, with Canada pulling out a tight victory.

My Prediction: Team Canada wins gold!
